Building owners, property managers and landlords with a commercial electric account: If your building has five or more units, you most likely have a commercial account. Building owners, property managers and landlords with a residential electric account: If your building has no more than four units, you most likely have a residential account. Review Quick Home Check-up for details.

• Condominium owners with your own Potomac Edison electric account: If you have your own Potomac Edison electric account and receive the electric bill, review Quick Home Check-up for details.  
• Condominium owners without your own Potomac Edison electric account: If you do not have your own Potomac Edison electric account and your property manager, building owner or condominium association pays the Potomac Edison electric bill, have your property manager, building owner or condominium association contact us for assistance.

• Renters with your own Potomac Edison account: If you rent and have your own Potomac Edison electric account, see https://energysavemd-home.com/quick-home-energy-checkup/ for details.
• Renters without your own Potomac Edison account: If you rent but do not have your own Potomac Edison electric account (that is, the landlord pays the bill), the number of units in your building determines which form(s) you need. The rule is as follows:
  • If your building has four or fewer units, you’ll participate through our residential QHEC program. Review Quick Home Check-up for details.  
  • If your building has five or more units, contact us.
