Incentives for Energy Efficiency Improvements

Potomac Edison’s Energy Solutions for Business Program is offering enhanced incentives to help commercial and industrial customers complete energy-efficiency upgrades with less out-of-pocket cost. Whether you're a small business or a large facility, this limited-time offer is a chance to increase savings and reduce energy expenses.

Offer available from June 1 through Nov. 26, 2025, or until funds are fully committed.

Increased Incentives for Customers of All Sizes

  • Custom incentives increased from $0.28 to $0.38 per kWh saved
  • 2x the standard incentive on prescriptive lighting upgrades
  • Small business incentives increased and now cover up to 80% of installed project costs
  • New incentives are available based on project size
  • Closed project bonus of $1,000 per project starting in any program for any project must be installed and payment request received by December 1, 2025

Projects must be pre-approved by Nov. 26, 2025, to be eligible for the limited-time offer.

In addition to enhanced incentives, the program has partnered with Optimus to offer low-interest financing that works alongside incentives, so business can start a project now and pay over time.

  • Incentives are paid once your project is complete
