How to Become a Program Ally

Potomac Edison offers incentives to their Commercial and Industrial customers for installing energy efficient equipment. Incentives help offset the cost of energy efficiency upgrades.

Become a Program Ally and help your customers reduce their energy consumption and save money on their electric bill. Becoming a Program Ally is easy as 1-2-3! Follow the 3 steps below on How to Get Started.

How to Get Started:

  1. Create a profile on the Program Portal and upload the following documents to My Profile:
    • W-9 dated within one year of submission.
    • Certificate of Insurance – Expired insurance policies or any policy within 30 days of expiration will not be accepted.
    • All applicable licenses. Expired licenses or any license within 30 days of expiration will not be accepted.
    • Two customer references on customer company letterhead and dated within 30 days of submission.
  2. Sign the Code of Conduct and Participation Agreement. Email [email protected] if you have any questions.
  3. Complete two projects within the Potomac Edison Energy Solutions for Business Program.
  4. The program team will review your documents. If approved, we will notify you to attend a training webinar. Once you’ve attended the training, please let the program team know, and we will add your information to the Find a Program Ally directory.

Become an Instant Discounts Distributor

Follow these easy steps:

  1. Lighting and HVAC distributors interested in offering Potomac Edison’s Instant Discounts can complete the distributor enrollment form to determine eligibility.
  2. The Instant Discounts Account Manager, Marcus Moore, will contact you for next steps.

Training on eligibility, incentives and qualified products and equipment, as well as PPC portal assistance will be provided. Qualified distributors will be listed on the Find a Program Ally directory.
